Should adding a Switch on the Smart BMS.
Hardware BMS Don't support Switch function.

 

*7.Can I use a BMS with different types of batteries?
Typically, BMS are designed for specific battery chemistries, so it's important to use a BMS compatible with your battery type.

 

*8.What types of battery chemistry Yanyang bms will support?
Support LiFePO4-Normal 3.2V / Li-ion- Normal 3.7V / Sodium-Ion- Normal 3V.
E.g: 4 cells of Li-ion, 4 x3.7v = 14.8V , nominal. When fully charged 4x4.2v= 16.8. Fully charged cells are 4.2V.

 

*9.What happens if a cell fails in a BMS?
A good BMS can detect cell failures and may disconnect the affected cell to prevent safety hazards.

 

*10.How do you verify if the soldering cable lines to the batteries are accurate before connecting to the bms ?
Using Voltage Measurement , With the battery pack assembled, measure the voltage across each cell or cell group.
Compare readings with expected values to identify any discrepancies.
*Important: Do not connect cable lead to BMS unless all measures are verified.

 

*11. Why the BMS With Switch , Should setting Auto Lock Type After Weld the BMS With The Switch ?

Before changing to self-locking, you can test whether the switch is connected properly and whether it works. Change it after the test. Otherwise, the board will lock itself suddenly and the switch will never work if it is not connected properly.
