1. Accurate & Comprehensive Solar Panel Testing

The 9000D PV Panel Tester is a professional tool designed for precise measurement of solar panel performance. It can accurately detect key parameters including maximum power (Pmax: 5-800W), MPPT point voltage (Vmax: 0-60V), MPPT point current (Imax: 0-35A), open-circuit voltage (0-60V), and short-circuit current (0-35A), with a measurement accuracy of ±(1.5%+5) for electrical parameters and ±(3%+2℃) for internal temperature. This allows you to quickly evaluate the quality of solar panels—under the same sunlight intensity, a higher Pmax (MPPT point) indicates better solar panel quality.

2. Flexible Manual & Automatic Testing Modes

This tester supports two practical testing modes to meet different usage scenarios.
  • Manual Mode: In the power-on initial state (Page 1), short-press the test button to perform a one-time MPPT test (voltage, current, power) and stop automatically, suitable for quick spot checks.

  • Automatic Mode: Long-press the test button to enter continuous testing; the interval between tests is automatically adjusted based on power output and the instrument’s internal temperature. Press the test button again in automatic mode to stop after one test, ideal for long-term performance monitoring of solar panels.


3. Multi-Page Data Management & Intuitive Display

Equipped with PageUP and PageDown keys, the tester enables easy switching between 4 functional pages for efficient data management:
  • Page 1: Real-time testing interface (initial power-on page).

  • Page 2: Stores up to 14 groups of manual test results, including the maximum MPPT power, voltage, and current; excess data is overwritten cyclically, and one-click data clearing is supported via the test button.

  • Page 3: Saves up to 14 groups of automatic test results, with the same cyclic overwriting and one-click clearing functions as Page 2.

  • Page 4: Displays a chart of the latest test data, with clear color coding (blue for voltage, orange for current, red for power, and green vertical line for MPPT point) for intuitive performance analysis.


4. Multiple Protection & Durable Design

To ensure safe and reliable operation, the 9000D tester is built with a full range of protection features:
  • Overheat Protection: Triggers an alarm when overheated; the instrument must be naturally cooled before reuse.

  • Reverse Connection Protection: Prevents damage caused by incorrect wiring of solar panels.

  • Overpower Protection: Prohibits testing of solar panels over 800W to avoid equipment burnout.

  • Overvoltage & Overcurrent Alarms: Provides timely prompts for abnormal electrical conditions. The tester is powered by a 3.7V 600mAh battery and has a compact size (1758233mm) for easy portability.
