What is the lifespan of your Large Marine House Bank LiFePO4 batteries?

Our LiFePO4 batteries typically offer 6,000+ deep cycles at 80% Depth of Discharge (DOD). With proper care, they can serve for over 10 years, which is significantly longer than traditional lead-acid batteries.

Can I connect these batteries in series or parallel?

Yes, most of our batteries support up to 4 units in series and 4 in parallel (4S4P) to create a 48V system or larger capacity banks. Please ensure all batteries are of the same model, age, and state of charge before connection.

Does the battery include a BMS? What does it do?

Yes, every SOSLLI battery is equipped with a built-in Intelligent Battery Management System (BMS). It protects the battery from over-charging, over-discharging, over-current, short circuits, and high/low-temperature issues.

Is it safe to use lithium batteries in extreme temperatures?

Our batteries are designed to operate between -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F). However, for charging, we recommend a temperature range of 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F) to protect the lithium cells.

Can I use a lead-acid charger for my lithium battery?

NO. LiFePO4 battery must be charged with a dedicated LiFePO4 charger, and Ternary Lithium battery must be charged with a dedicated Ternary Lithium charger. Using an incompatible charger or a lead-acid charger will lead to improper charging voltages, which can significantly shorten battery life or even cause serious safety hazards like thermal runaway
